THE IRVINE 7: SCOOP & SPOON VISUALISES SOUND OF NEW MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
Looking to find unprecedented and unique sounds, the AVL Cultural Foundation has teamed up with the New York-based artist Andy Cavatorta to create a new type of instrument that utilizes unique crystals.
The idea of this extraordinary sound project was devised by Kathryn List, chairwoman of the board at the AVL Cultural Foundation, and Michael Ksela, CEO of SCOOP & SPOON. The marketing and communication-technology company has also created a stunning visualisation of the unique sounds emanating from the new instrument. With a little help of the latest technologies, the instrument’s exceptional sounds can thus also be experienced visually.
